Launch of the 2023 Mapping Social Cohesion Report

Since 2007, the Scanlon Mapping Social Cohesion Research series has been tracking Australians' attitudes to important social cohesion issues including belonging, migration, democracy and the economy.

In 2023, Australians have been faced with challenging national and global circumstances, economic pressures and uncertainty, and difficult debates over issues such as the Voice referendum. How is Australia’s social cohesion fairing as a result, and what can we be optimistic about for the future?

The webinar will feature a presentation of this year's key findings by report author Dr James O'Donnell, of the Australian National University, followed by a live Q&A segment, where Dr O’Donnell and CEO of the Scanlon Foundation Research Institute, Anthea Hancocks will answer questions submitted by webinar participants.

This event is generously organised and hosted by the Scanlon Foundation.
